Raphael I. Ruttenberg
RAPHAEL I. RUTTENBERG joined the firm in 2012. His experience spans many types of commercial litigation, including insurance subrogation actions, commercial note defaults, and commercial mortgage foreclosures.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Ruttenberg was an assistant to the General Counsel of the Manhattan Borough President’s Office, where he formulated policy, reviewed contracts, and drafted amicus curiae briefs on behalf of the Borough President.
Mr. Ruttenberg earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and B.A. in Philosophy from Vassar College. While in law school, Mr. Ruttenberg participated in the Brooklyn law School Capital Defender and Federal Habeas Clinic, a federal appellate clinical program, and interned for Judge Eric N. Vitaliano of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Mr. Ruttenberg is admitted to practice in New York, and in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
